We're Giving Books

Update: I have heard that leaving a comment here can be technically challenging. I am sorry. Next year, we will come up with a reliable way for participants to let us know they participated.

I would love to know what countries participants in International Book Giving Day are from. If you participated and are from a country other than Australia, Canada, South Africa, France, India, Ireland, Japan, the Philippines, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, or the United States, please take a moment to send me an email (amy dot broadmoore at gmail dot com) and let me know you participated! Thanks!

Please, leave a comment below with your name and country, and we will add you to this list of people (all people, not just authors) giving books for International Book Giving Day. I will start us off with the names of the authors who have let us know that they are participating in International Book Giving Day, but your name belongs here too!

  8. I've put aside a pile of books to give to the daughter of our local Big Issue seller (a young Polish woman). I don't often see her these days, as she's stopped selling it since giving birth, so the books are unlikely to reach her by tomorrow, but I'll try to get them to her eventually. I've texted her to say that they're hers if she wants them.
